NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y., Sept. 23 -- Alpha Bytes, Inc. kicks off its marketing awareness campaign for the H-NET(R) Internet-based transaction network and Internet Vision Care Portal tomorrow at the annual Vision Expo/West conference in Las Vegas. Anton Stephens, Chairman and CEO of Alpha Bytes, said, "The beta test of our transaction network has been so successful we have moved the launch of our marketing awareness campaign forward to take advantage of the large concentration of vision care professionals at the conference who can benefit from H-NET(R). This will be the first opportunity for these industry professionals and leaders to see the much anticipated transaction network in action and to see live demos of the new Internet Portal for the vision care industry."

The conference is the world's leading vision care event. Last year's conference attracted over 10,000 attendees from the global ophthalmic community including opticians, ophthalmologists, optometrists, lab managers, technicians and chain store senior executives. According to statistics made available by Reed Exhibition Companies, the conference organizer, 75% of all attendees have the authority to recommend, specify or purchase products and services. Last year, approximately half of the attendees signed a purchase order at the show.

Earlier this week, Alpha Bytes announced agreements with Quantum Optical, Inc. and Sola Optical USA to provide continuing education for vision care professionals on Alpha Bytes' H-NET(R) Internet portal. This is the latest business-to-business service provided by Alpha Bytes for the vision care industry and the first in a series of new revenue streams to be created through the H-NET(R) portal.

Alpha Bytes is the global leader in providing e-commerce business-to-business services to the vision care industry.
