Once again, Apple Chief Executive Steve Jobs is taking medical leave for the third time since 2004 and once again, the company's stock price is unsteady as Jobs refuses to be forthcoming about the details of his condition. It is probably connected to the rare form of cancer called a pancreatic islet cell neuroendocrine tumor that Jobs has suffered from previously. Jobs had such a tumor removed in 2004 and said afterwards all the cancer was gone, and he did not require chemotherapy or radiation treatment.
The recent news of the California hacker that stole nude photos from hacked emails highlights the fact that most people do not consider the importance of that security question that comes up when you go to reset your password. The clouds is essentially built upon the initial technologies and under pinning technologies behind the WWW, and have simply been made accessible publicly, the theory has been put into practice through the amalgamation of converged technologies.
Though many have predicted a paperless future void of magazines and newspapers, this is certainly not the case. You can still expect a thick issue of Vogue every September and print is far from dead. Print advertising will continue to serve advertisers with its prestige and print will continue to thrive. That said, the print advertising landscape is certainly changing.
